I pick a different choice: I don't put the toilet paper on the holder because I don't like changing it. I just have a roll of toilet paper resting on the counter right next to the toilet. Much easier maneuvering.

That is starting to be my way as well. In order to get to the paper off the holder I have to turn far to the left and it gets annoying, so at home I don't really put it on the roll.
