LOL! I hate Wal-Mart, but every week I find myself there. What with these saggeringly high gas prices, I have to watch my budget, and Wal-Mart, as much as I hate to admit it, has the best prices for a lot of stuff.....
That's no excuse for a great band like AC/DC to sell thier CD exclusively there though.... I think it's a bad idea. |

Well, we'll see. I think with a place like Wal-Mart, if they're gonna get exclusive rights, they're gonna promote the smurf poo out of it whereas if you throw it out across the board at a Target, Best Buy, music retail chain, etc, it's gotta swim on it's own to be successful.
When bands first started going retail chain exclusive (I think Target has done a few as well), I thought it was lame, but it's proven to be a smart move for the older acts who get no radio play and would get swallowed up and bomb elsewhere.
