| For those of you who like your news chosen for you, I have taken the liberty to post what Blabbermouth is reporting on the upcoming Alice Cooper album.

According to a posting on the ALICE COOPER fan site SickThingsUK, Cooper will release his new album, "Along Came A Spider", in North America on July 29. The CD was co-produced by Greg Hampton and Danny Saber in Los Angeles.
Alice recently told Billboard.biz that his forthcoming LP is "a real 'Alice' album. Conceptually, it's going to be pretty interesting."
Cooper wouldn't reveal too many details, but said the album is based on a fictional serial killer named Spider, who wraps his victims in a silk web. "Every song
is sort of a letter to the police," he explains. "They think they're
investigating it from the outside, but he's actually woven them into
the whole thing."

| As a huge ALICE fan, probably second only to Spectre....I've had my boner for this album since seeing him in concert 2 years ago and he talked of writing for a new disc....

I rarely go to Blabbermouth anymore, so I appreciate when important news gets posted here.

| The last Alice release that I purchased was The Eyes of Alice Cooper. I liked it pretty well... Never got Dirty Diamons. Is it a good album? I feel like I'm in the minority, but I really liked Brutal Planet and Dragontown. They were both very dark albums.

| | I love everything Alice has put out except Trash. Brutal PLanet and Dragontown are my favorites in the '00's but Dirty Diamonds is knocking at that door. That album is stupendous! |

| I kinda figured... I'm listening to Eyes right now... Good stuff!!! I really like the songs Novocaine, This House Is Haunted, and The Song That Didn't Rhyme.

Do you know this for fact or just speculation? I'm hoping/assuming that it is the garage-rock sound like the last 2 albums, but nothing has been leaked yet, has it? |
