| Seems like there is some serious talent in the water over in Australia. I really love all of the Christian Metal bands from that scene.
1. Grave Forsaken 2. Metanoia 3. Martyr's Shrine 4. Paramacium 5. Mortification
I'm sure there are others. Can anyone tell me anymore Aussie christian bands to check out? |

Great list. I have all but Grave Forsaken. Ever heard Ethereal Scourge? I had them, then stupidly traded/sold them. They're pretty darn good Death Metal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_ladAOix_U_________________ I'm warning you. I'll be forced to Thrash you! |

I'll second you on Ethereal Scourge. It's either an album you love or hate, though there doesn't seem to be an inbetween. Personally, I love it. Martyr's Shrine is Mick Carlisle and Michael Forsberg (both ex-Morty). The last Grave Forsaken was their best yet. Harder to get hold of (but worth it) are Discarnated and Deracination. Other bands: Teramaze (first two) inExordium (Paramaecium return to their death metal roots) Scourged Flesh Fearscape (progressive black metal) Synnove and of course Virgin Black!
There are a host of bands who had tracks on Rowe Productions compilations who could have gone further (like Embodiment), but all the above have full albums out. |

Nope... got 'em in there. Discarnated had already broken up before he joined the band which became known as Virgin Black. |

| As for Christian bands in Australia:
Virgin Black (would be my fave) Rosanna's Raiders (a very underrated hard rock act) Ethereal Scourge and Mortification Lightforce
Not much else interests me for some reason.
My favorite Australian bands are not of the "Christian" ilk though. _________________

| Screams Of Chaos - basically an experimental industrial metal project of Australian filmmaker Neil Johnson. Neil by the way for those who may not know is heavily involved with Manowar in filming and producing many of their videos and DVD packages. _________________ The death of one gave life to all...

| Ethereal Scourge were one of my favorites. Wish they would have released more than the one album.
Teramaze are from Australia. I liked their first couple albums, though they changed styles like the wind. When they went for a Goo Goo Dolls sound on their third album, I was done. Haven't really cared much about them since.
Grave Forsaken just get better and better with each new album. _________________ |

Glad someone else knows of Covenant. Great power metal, but had the misfortune to be around at the same time when death metal was the flavour of the month! |
