| What bands would you purchase a new release without hearing a single note or reading a review, just going on their previous releases?
Some of mine are:
Anthrax (not a bad release yet) Motorhead (ditto) Megadeth (can't with for United Abominations) Aerosmith (although their 90's output had me on the fence a few times) Guns N Roses (I'm not holding my breath for Chinese Democracy, but I'm sure if the day comes, I'll be there) Nevermore Iced Earth Iron Maiden Judas Priest |

| I buy 99% of all my music unheard I am also quite the completist, minus singles, and EP's, but chances are that if I donæt have it, I am looking for it! _________________

| I see a lot of these bands were already mentioned, but I guess that means we all have great taste. When I hear about a new CD by any of the following, I will do my damnedest to get out to the store on the first day of release to pick it up... Iron Maiden Judas Priest Iced Earth Overkill Savatage (or anything related to them, i.e. Jon Oliva's Pain) Megadeth Raven |

| | In this day of dowloading music so easily, I say NONE. I always get impatient and dowload an album (even if its a lame promo copy with those anoying voiceovers) before it comes out. Some albums I have dowloaded I loved so much I had to have them RIGHT NOW, so I searched high and low until I found them (Silent Scythe - "Suffer In Silence" & Black Destiny - "In Neo Noir" come to mind), others I have downloaded and were not in any hurry to get, (Like the new Manowar, for example) but eventually I will pick them up when I find a cheap used copy. |
