| One of my favorite bands has a new album coming out...

Due this fall via Napalm Records, the CD was recorded at Sound Supreme Studios in Hämeenlinna, Finland, with producer Janne Saksa and was mixed and mastered by the Swedish multi-instrumentalist and producer Dan Swanö (EDGE OF SANITY, NIGHTINGALE, ex-BLOODBATH). Songtitles set to appear on the album include "The Last Alliance", "Exile The Daystar", "Daughter Of The Sun", "Third Immortal" and "Voice Of The Fallen". The limited edition version of the album will include a bonus DVD that will contain the band's performance at the Metal Female Voices Fest 2007.
BATTLELORE is currently utilizing the services of drummer Enrico Annus (ELDERTHRONES, KHERT-NETER) for its live dates because the group's regular skinsman, Henri Vahvanen, "is on vacation and [isn't] able to play all of BATTLELORE's shows this summer," according to a posting on the band's web site.
BATTLELORE released its fourth CD, "Evernight", in North America on March 13, 2007 via Napalm Records.

Not sure how many fans there are here—if any—but this band is killer. Usually writing about Tolkien's work is a bit cheesy, but this band takes is very serious. Their stage outfits aren't as epic and cool-looking as their promo shots, though. On stage they look a bit cheesy. Haha. Doubt I'll ever see them live, so it's all good.

Yeah, I've investigated this band before. I'd like them a lot more if the singer would actually SING!

I agree. Too bad Cookie Monster has to ruin the proceedings.
I can't tell you how many times I've tried to get into this band but Mr. Growler always ruins it for me.

| Pretty good band. The guy isn't very growly at all, to me. The singer from Kreator is much harsher. Or maybe I'm just getting more used to the sound. They are better that Nightwish anyways.
And the singer? Not that cute, really, but she's got a great voice. |

| This new album is awesome! There's a lot more male singing on this one. The guttural stuff is there, but there's a lot more clean vocals mixed in, which gives it an overall better dynamic, I think.
Great album so far. Two tracks from the end.
