As you can see, I love cover tunes. I don't keep many ripped songs/albums on my PC, but I have a folder specifically for my favorite cover songs. I always love a good, true cover, but I really love when bands change things up a bit. For instance, Sonata Arctica's power metal cover of "Still Loving You," or Solarsis' melodic death metal version of "Nothing Else Matters," or both covers of NIN's "Head Like A Hole," and Elis' gothic metal version of "Heaven And Hell." Some I consider better than the originals, like Solitude Aeturnus' cover of "Hallowed Be Thy Name" (that's right, I said it!). And I always give props to bands who can pull off good Def Leppard covers, managing to nail the harmonies!

Anyway, I generally hate just listing things; so I hope someone enjoys these covers. I think they're all excellent!

EDIT: I see that ultmetal listed Ultimatum's cover of "Sins Of Omission." He's not stroking his own noodle there; it's a damn good cover, kind of like Overkill covering Testament! In fact, that how Jump In The Pit compilation is awesome (especially for a Dwell Records release)! Horror of Horrors deserve a smack, though, for totally turding up the solo—the best metal solo ever!—in "Return To Serenity." Fags.
