I get the impression that this thread was started to deride the genre.

Have at it you "metalheads"; I will take cheesy, glam over most of the stuff you guys listen to in a heartbeat.

Wow dont know these guys nor have I heard this song but after watching that, I think they have a love bomb for each other. The way they dress and dance is pretty questionable. LOL! Hey whatever I dont care either way but how did chicks dig this in guys back then?

Tigertailz are not really underrated and have enjoyed good sales and success over the years. Perhaps they are not very known in USA being from UK obviously, but they are still alive and well in their part of the woods.

I understand that metal was popular back in the 80's but how is it that so many bands appeared in the time? did most of these bands really knew how to play an instrument?

Love/Hate are cool. Really diggin' their second CD. The first one is really good too.

I really dig Nitro as well. So over-the-top. It is funny, if you don't take it serious. But's it's also quite heavy for glam metal.

To me they are not underrated either. I like them a lot, to me they are just a great glam metal band.

I do enjoy Love/Hate but after a while, Jizzy Pearl's voice really begins to grate on me. Did anyone ever listen to the LA Guns album with him on it (Shrinking Violet)? It's kind of hard to palette at points due to his vocals.
