Whatever. I like Mr. Loaf. Always have. He's better when Jim Steinman writes the songs but I even like his "Steinman-less" releases. Meatloaf was a bastion of rock for me during the disco era so I owe him my sanity at least. _________________ "There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats." - Albert Schweitzer |

| I like Meatloaf, great singer, who's songs are all mini epics, almost heavy metal operas and usually taken from the point of view of immature adolscent male. As performer Meatloaf gives it his all. Also Meatloaf and his partner in crime Jim Steinman do not come from a rock 'n' roll backaround but broadway. They both approached thier songs not from a musicians viewpoint but from an actor's viewpoint. Songs like "Bat Out of Hell", " Two Out of Three" and hell any other song Meatloaf has been involved in is always going to sound larger than life, pompous, and melodramatic.
