So here's the first Scars On Broadway track:

THEY SAY

Cool track. Daron sounds better, more controlled. I dig it. In case you don't know (likely), Scars On Broadway is Daron from System Of A Down's new project. Initially Casey Chaos from Amen was in the band, and the song actually sounds like something Amen would write.

Definitely not System Of A Down, but I think this is a really good tune.

Its alright. I thought Daron would experiment more with metal though.

So Daron looks a bit different. Haha. Don't bother listen all the way through; it sounds like crap. But if I didn't know better, I would have said that was Les Claypool! Laughing

Man, I have a feeling this album is going to be awesome!

Not sure I like all the songs, but some of them are flat out awesome! Can't wait to hear studio versions. After hearing Serj's solo album I gave him a lot of credit for System Of A Down's sound; but these Scars tracks are further proof that Daron is truly the creative genius behind that band.

Favorite tracks: "I Like Suicide," "Stoner Hate," "Enemy" (my favorite), "They Say."

So I downloaded this album at work. I just wanted to give it a listen. Man, it's pretty awesome! Daron's lyrics are once again wicked juvenile at times, but I think I might end up liking this album more than Serj's solo album. Daron is just a very unique songwriter. His structures are simple, but his craft is very original and unique. Some of these songs are just so awesome!

And his vocals seem a lot stronger now. Yeah, he hits those whiney nots now and then, but I've grown used to them. Overall, however, a much stronger performance all around.

Fantastic album, though.
