| One of the greatest rock bands ever! They really helped pave the way for the loud music that is heavy metal.
Who's Next is my favorite album they did. Any other fans here?

| Love The Who! I'm torn as to which is my favorite though. Who's Next or Who Are You. Who Are You has one of my favorite unknown Who songs on it. John Entwhistle's "905". _________________ "There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats." - Albert Schweitzer |

| It is interesting how this band has alot of better songs than what is offered on most commercial radio stations. Always thought it was kewl that KISS payed homage on one of their late 80's tours. Townsend plays "music" and doesn't have to throw lots of notes down to bring it. I respect Moon's playing alot but never was influenced by it. I still havr trouble telling Daltry and Townsend apart vocally. Entwhistle was an amazing player, I reccomend his mid 70's solo lp alot. Laterz |

| | I like them - I only have the greatest hits albums. I need to pick up quadrophena, tommy, etc. Not a huge fan of the early stuff, I like the late 6o's (who's next) on, as they really seemed to come into their own at that point. I was watching the who doc on VH1 the other day - good stuf |

| The Who rule! I saw them (well, Tonshend and Daltry as the Who) back in Oct 2006 and they rocked the place down to the ground! Their classic material is definately some of the definitive music of the classic rock era. Dalty's showman ship was matched only by Robert Plant.
I have mixed feelings about Endless Wire. It's cool, but far too mellow. It's funny that there's a song called "Tea and Theater" because (most of) the album sounds like something you'd listen to when drinking tea!
Live At Leeds will forever have a special place in my rock'n'roll heart (though, it'll NEVER top KISS Alive!). _________________ sword and shield, bone and steel, rictus grin...deaf forever to the battles din

| Love the Who! Who's Next is an awesome album. My favorite tracks are not the radio hits, though I enjoy those too. "The Song Is Over" tops my list! I never got into Endless Wire. _________________ ...please teach me how to dream, I long to be more than a machine. |

| Not a fan of this band much, but I just saw Pearl Jam do a killer performance on this VH1 Rock Honors show. And yeah, Keith Moon was insane. He's the dude that OD'd and died during a show, right? _________________ "Happy people have no stories." —Therapy?

I just saw it too. Foo Fighters did a pretty good job too, I thought. _________________

Yeah, I watched the beginning of the show at 11pm, and Foo Fighters were awesome on that first song. The Supergrass dude turded up the second song. I think Dave Grohl is one of the greatest musicians of the past 20 years, so I'm biased. But I still thing they killed it. _________________ "Happy people have no stories." —Therapy?

| I bought a double compilaton album, but can't say that I liked as many tunes on it as I thought I would. I remember loving The Pinball Wizard, but even that sounded a bit flat here. _________________
