According to The Guestlist and various Italian media reports, 19-year-old Italian heavy metal singer Cristina Balzano (pictured below) has been arrested for stabbing the guitarist in her band SOUL CRY after he fluffed a guitar riff.

Balzano allegedly stabbed the 16-year-old guitarist for hitting the wrong notes during a rehearsal session after accusing him of "playing badly."

Balzano has now been charged by Genovese police for attempted murder.

At least the report didnt have an underlying anti-metal stance. What a crazy vamp though...and how do they think they can relate the story to the Burzum murder or Sharon Osbourne throwing eggs at Bruce Dickinson?!?!

Another day, another story where metal music gets degraded by the media.

I would like to see country music be given a bad name for once. The metal community won't tolerate stories like these published about them anymore.

I doubt the media would "sensationalize" a story about a country singer who shot his/her drummer with a twelve gauge for screwing up a drum beat. But they always do this when it's metal. That's not fair.
