| Just wanted to know. Does anybody on this forum like Down?
Personally, I think they're awesome.
All of their albums rock.
I love the individual members bands also (ie: Crowbar, Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Eyehategod).
Thoughts?

| I really enjoy Down's music alot myself, especially their first release , II & III are also highly addictive doom metal releases as well though . Phils voice is so expressive in Down and the music is just great. Great band.

| new album is meant to be coming out next year, and a live album/dvd is in the works but nothing has been conformed yet.
they are also meant to be re-recording NOLA with Rex on bass and remastering Down II.
should be good

| I'd love to get my hands on that DVD. That would be bad ass & I'm also going to be buying anything that they might be putting out. I have no doubt that whatever they put their efforts into will worth my money.

| i went to see them in Manchester a couple of months back and they were awesome.
no support band.
just 2 1/2 hours of Down. one of the dest concerts i've been to in a long while

| I had Down III for a while, but I couldn't get in to it. The production was a little rough for my tastes...

they ain't re-recording the whole thing, they are just going to re-record the bass.
Personally i don't see the point since Kirk recorded the original bass parts anyways, but i guess they just want rex to be a part of the first album .
But still, Down are awesome regardless!!!

Right, but even that is pointless. And I don't believe there are any leftovers from that time. I have two demos (CDRs) from that time, and every song appeared on the album.
