Zombieland

This reminds me of Natural Born Killers (and not just because Woody Harrelson is in it). It's got the same kind of surreal vibe going on. Like the rules popping up and zombies running into them.

Does Patrick Swayze whisper in his ear as he writes love notes to Demi Moore ?

LOL no, but it's a pretty decent political thriller - if you like that sort of thing. I do.

Finished Zombieland.

It was OK. It started out with a lot of energy and surrealism but about halfway through it started getting more "serious". Woody Harrelson is great in it though.

That's about right, Toho. It turned into a sort of love story. Just keep the people running for their lives!

I liked how early on the "rules" kept popping up as part of the scenery and characters actually interracted with them. Once they got to Hollywood, that pretty much stopped.

The Coconuts (first ever Marx Brothers Film)

And currently (another Marx Brothers movie):

A Day At The Races

Arguably, the greatest comedy team of all time. Cocunuts contain some of my favoirte bits such as The Viaduct, The Auction, & The Speeches where Harpo (dressed as a cowboy) keeps getting up and making a funny face (has to bee seen).

Oh damn -- the last movie I saw in the theater was Orphan. The last movie I bought on DVD is One Missed Call (I bought two copies of this one. One for myself and one for my publisher.)

Orphan actually freaked me out because it was really disturbing -- the delfacto sickest story in the evil kid genre or horror films. I Am not going to give the plot away on this one but it's one of those you'd be screaming "holy sh*t!"
