Yeah, my list of movies I wanna see this summer is growing:
Incredible Hulk, Wall-E, Indy, Hancock and The Dark Knight. TDK is the first thing I wanna see, but I'll probably just catch it down in Florida when I'm on vacation to visit my family in a week. I imagine opening weekend will be total chaos. |
Looking forward to those movies too as well as the new Indiana Jones movie, the new Mummy movie, and one of the most anticipated movies for me this summer: the second Hellboy

| | Just saw Hellboy II yesterday and it's a visually incredible film, plus the character development is superior to the original film. The mythology behind the story is very different from the first film but very interesting. A much more cohesive film and much broader in scope. Guillermo is one of the few actual visionary directors running around today. |

Definitely Bender's Big Score, I love Narwhals. Among other things.

Nacho Libre
Chicago Boricua  I watched it on one of these local channels at 2 in the morning. Nothing else on, too lazy to put in a movie, and I couldn't go to bed. Sad.

| Watched Rambo.
Not bad for what it was but lots of really bad CGI gore FX. I felt like I was watching Ren and Stimpy half the time.

| Spiderwick Chronicles-great fantasy/adventure movie even if it was a family film (nothing wrong with those most of the time IMO). I love these kinds of movies the most (Willow, Lord Of The Rings, The Beastmaster, etc.). Due to the troll that chased the kids underground reminding me of Samael The Desolate One in Hellboy I will now watch that movie.
Speaking of fatasy/adventure, I just found out about the making of the Hobbit movie (can't wait-though I must wait at least 2-3 years)

Rambo - Oh, my!!! 2nd most blood I've ever seen in a movie! Toho I though of your Ren & Stimpy description but it made also me think of Itchy & Scratchy. Blood galore.

| Well, that's true. I'm glad I didn't have this one at home. I'm pretty liberal with the movie watching but this wasn't one for the kiddies.

| Forgot that I no longer have Hellboy so I just watched Witless Protection-Ernest P. Warrel is reborn in Larry The Cable Guy (except his movies have more toilet humor). This is the kind of movie you either love or hate. If you like Larry's comedy then this movie is worth seeing, if your more sophisticated in you're comedy taste:

| Just finished "Altered".
Some good ideas (like alien abduction victims seeking revenge on the aliens) and decent gore but there were a lot of slow parts.

| I watched The Matrix last night for the first time. I didn't realize it was so science fiction almost to the point of L. Ron Hubbard material. I did like the Clint Eastwood tribute though, I'm sharp.

I actually love both movies but I think I have to give the nod to Blade Runner. Just a great sci fi movie with great performances and stellar sets.

| Just saw The Dark Knight as well. One of the few times a movie lived up to the hype surrounding it, IMO. VERY good movie.
