Just found out about these crazy german guys. They're awesome!

I and my wife really dig them. Mutter is their crowning achievement by far though IMO.

I didn't at first, but I thought 'Amerika' was just a great song and they sorta grew on me.

I had all their albums at one time. (Had to sell them, but I plan to get them back.)

Every time I would talk about Rammstein to someone, the only song they ever knew was Du Hast. It's sad that the radio stations down here won't play anything other than Du Hast. There's so much more stuff they did that blows Du Hast out of the water.

Mutter at the time it came out, was better than anything they had ever done. The only thing that topped that one was Reise Reise.

And if you want a good laugh, go to youtube and search for Rammstein performing Buck Dich at the Live Aus Berlin set. Hilarious.

yeah I used to be really into rammstein. Til someone gave me a translation of the song buck dich......................that kinda killed the whole band for me.

I loved the first two albums but lost track of them after that. My first introduction to them was from the Mortal Combat 2 soundtrack. Amerika is a cool song BTW.

Awesome band! One of the few who make Germany look good even abroad I like to think. At first I hated them and thought they were just the next big hype. Even when my buddy in social service kept playing Sehnsucht to me over and over again that didn't do it for me. But now I dig them. Quite a lot. They have mastered the art of being controversial and how to play Techno music with Metal riffs (not vice versa). I also like their lyrics very much. At least when I do understand them. It happens often enough that I have absolutely no idea what they're singing about. But the puns they use and how they play with different meanings of words is amazing. It's not what I usually listen to but from time to time it's nice to put on one of their records and go nuts to it. Erm, what I call going nuts that is. *grins sheepishly*

Engel is one of the most awesome songs IMO, I love the whistling part.
