Lose lots of weight.

1. Accomplish something artistic this year.
2. Hopefully find some work I can depend on
3. Maybe meet "Miss Right" or at least "Miss Right Now"
4. Lose 15 pounds
5. Quit Smoking
6. Eat Better
7. Pay off debt
8. Stop being a hermit and actually get out of the house and DO STUFF
9. Having the energy to continue fighting my constant depression & self-esteem issues
10. Do some work for charity.

I'm not one to make resolutions because like others, I never keep them but these are things that I'd like to happen next year:

1. I've gone one month w/o caffine and I will try to stay away from any caffinated drinks at least until I reach 6 months w/o, then only sparingly.

2. I need to tighten my budget and I want to stay w/in it this time. I will utilize the internet to get CDs at low prices (I need to stick w/ used CDs, luckily new releases become used pretty quickly on Amazon-this means I will have to be patient and use snail mail and money orders or reloadable Visa cards)

3. I have backslided in my walk with God and I hope that I can stop being selfish and self centered and trust in God to see me through the hard times, instead of finding solice in cheap thrills that don't last (for instance many times I cheated on my budget to buy stuff in order to make me happy).

4. I need to take better care of myself. I need to eat better and more frequently (as opposed to skipping a meal and gorging during another meal-this is part of my budget problem because fast food is easier than making something and tastes better than a frozen dinner). I need to take more walks instead of sitting around watching TV all day.

5. I need to stop sleeping so much. I nap more in one day than an elderly person would.

6. I don't know how it will happen but I hope to find someone next year. I'm tired of being the only single adult at family gatherings.

7. Despite being tired at the end of the week, I need to try to go to church more often which would help w/ #3

8. Also instead of watching TV, I need to read more and find more projects to work on (i.e. a website, selling off some of my crap, write lyrics again and maybe even short stories, organizing my stuff and getting rid of things I don't need anymore, kareokee with my music, etc.)

These are things I know will happen this next year:

I will pay off my debt by the end of January/begging of February and start working on saving enough money to quit my part-time job.

After that is over, I will go to Lincoln Tech and start on the automotive program. Depending on wheter Wal-Mart works with my schedule or not, I might have to quit that job and go to school while living on savings and my G.I. Bill (my dad says he also has some savings that can help me if that is the route I go).

This might just be the most important year of my life.

1) get my A+ certification Ive been hitting a brick wall in getting this info stuck in my noggin
2) get my Cisco CCNA Certification
3) get better and more fulfilling and higher paying job
4) write more
5) be the best husband and stepdad I can be

I have one more thing I need to work on for the new year, clean up my language. In public it's not too bad but in private, the words I use could be put toward a Biohazard song.
