The black hole of the WWW swallowed him and after fighting the green women, who look like Dolly Parton at zero gravity, for 1,000 years he managed to find a portal that let him back into this realm. Time is relative in space and he came back just minutes after he left. Of course he will now spend his life trying to return to the green women.
