Then you should check out DRI, The Crucified, ST, The Exploited etc... (punk bands that added metal) |
Those bands all started off as punk bands and "crossed over" to become metal bands. |
But as they were crossing over they were still playing a punk style with metal added in... for example, Join the Army by Suicidal and the debut from The Crucified were pretty much still hardcore punk but with a strong metal influence. |
