| Freddy, for me it's my favorite year EVER in music history. A lot of that had to do with the fact that I was 13, and my musical tastes were expanding. I was still into stuff that was on the radio (I hate to call it pop, but I guess that's what it was), but the metal scene was amazing. |

| That WAS an awesome year! I was a freshman/sophmore in High School and you can't beat the music that was released that year!!!!! FF - I've got em all too, plus a good number on Ult's expanded list. |

| Coincidentally, I picked up Van Halen's 1984 last week (other than 'Jump' and 'Hot For Teacher', I didn't know the album at all). It's one hell of an album, if a bit cheesy synth-heavy. |
