Ohhhh, I've heard this before. Yeah, they're pretty smurfing horrible, perhaps even the worst. Gotta give them props for bringing back the crab walk though.

this band isn't emo either. they combine elements of emo with metalcore among others, Pantera were definitely an influence on metalcore. so there's your connection.

I guess... but i doubt they are responsible for all things metalcore. Cro-Mags were mixing metal and hardcore while Pantera were still considered glam.

not all things metalcore, but certainly the base of it. never did the Cro-Mags reach Pantera's success. Pantera were the ones who made it all cool & popular. more power to them though, because i like metalcore.

I don't think the Cro-Mags would be a good example here anyway. Hardcore then and hardcore now is vastly different.

Well, I'm sure someone out there likes this sort of thing. Eh, no law against sucking I guess. Unless you're paying for it at 2:00 am in your Toyota in the parking lot behind Arby's with a gal named "Divine". Somehow that's frowned upon in polite society, but this crap can go out to the airwaves and infect our youth. That's the real crime.
