sacred reichs covers of sweet leaf, war pigs and rapid fire come very close to beating the original owners

the iron maiden cover by ultimatum is also very good

I saw Paul Di'Anno on his own, and technically their not covers as he did have a part in writing them, but his band played ripping versions of Iron Maiden classics.
