Their actually is a 70's LA punk band called the Zero's (Dubbed the Mexican Ramones), not to be confused with the purple haired glamtastic Zero's.

It's more David Bowie flat than anything, but Sammy's voice changes from song to song. Funny you mention Howard Stern, The Zero's actually wrote the theme song for the Howard Stern Show

That song's OK; the singer is pretty typical for this style. I just find the song kinda blah; singing one word every other second is not going to grab me.
Plus, I'm buying entirely too many CDs here lately. I think I'm giving short shrift to some that need repeated spins to sink in. I'm trying to cut down on my CD buying.
Which will probably last about 2 days...
