Were one of the best freakin' rock and roll band ever that were not quite rock and roll at all...but a stomping rockabilly mutant with country tentacles and a jazzy heart.

DAVE ALVIN is one of the coolest MFers in the world and every single thing he has ever been associated with is gold...


If this don't get ya ass shakin' you are a sorry dead s.o.b.

Actually I only heard the name of the band never the music so thanks

Holy sh*t....how'd i miss this thread!

Don't get me wrong, i love them Stray Cats.....but it should of been these guys leading the rockabilly revival of the early 80's.....i guess a little to rootsy and obviously not as cute as their feline relatives.

That second S/T record is as good as any X, Cramps, Jason & The Scorchers, Gun Club etc. record, you know outta that whole crowd of bands in the early 80's digging up the roots of old disparate American musics and reenergising it all with punk.....each band different but with similar motives.
