The one I used to use would be go over next to a woman at the bar, order a drink, casually say hi to her, and then act like she said something back that I didn't hear. "I'm sorry - what was that?" If she was cool it would likely lead to some conversation. If she gave an attitude I won't waste my time. I was all about efficiency in my pick-ups back then.

The other one me and my buddies would pull was what we called the switch-up. The way it worked was I would go over to someone acting like I was doing so on behalf of a friend. Then the friend would come over and do what he had to do (cheesy lines) to make me be the one she'd be interested in. Surprisingly it only ever back-fired once or twice.

The key to those was just to get to talking to the person.

I read the thread title wrong. I thought this was "Ultimatum pick-up lines". Like, if I walked up to a girl in a bar and said with a wink, "we live in a world that's topsy-turvy... Conscience seared and dead.... Disintigration of morality" she'd fall for me.
