| | My favorite live album of all time is AC/DC's "If You Want Blood" you can almost see the beer foam coming off your speakers, almost as good as being there watching Angus doing his School boy on acid routine, and Bon having the audience right in the pawn of his hand, the live versions of Rock n Roll Damnation, Let there be Rock and The Jack smoke the original studio recording. As good as brian Johnson is, there is no replacing Bon Scott. Hands down my favorite live album ever. |

I read in one of those audiophile mags that Alive! was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in NYC with Eddie Kramer producing. They used a few bits and pieces from some actual live dates but over 95% of that album was recorded in the studio. Doesn't matter of course...it's still their best album...but I found that interesting.
Great list by the way... |

| | I just listened to UFO's "Strangers in the Night", one of my favorite live albums, on this album it proves why Michael Schenker is considered a guitar god, the solo to " Rock Bottom" is worth the price of admission alone. |

| I saw UFO open up for The Doobie Brothers in 1977. I was 7 years old. Not a bad early concert! _________________ |
