Lex Metalis first pressing info...
The first pressing of Lex Metalis was only 1,000 copies, of which several hundred copies are being sent out as promos. I assume the first 1,000 copies will not last long as we usually run through more than that in a short time. However, the first pressing of Lex Metalis will be slightly different than the second and subsequent CD pressings, as well as all digital downloads.

We recorded a couple different versions of "Iron Fist". The current version on the CD is not the version we had wanted. It's not a bad version, just different. The correct version will be on all subsequent repressings as well as all digital download sites like iTunes and CDBaby, etc. So, those of you who pre-ordered or snag one of those first 1,000 will have this "other" version of "Iron Fist" that we did not intend to release. We will soon make the version of "Iron Fist" we wanted on the CD available for free download.

Kmorg, the digital version you reviewed has the correct version on it. Your CD version coming in the mail has the other version on it. Curious when you hear it which you like better.

I don't know. Robert likes the version out now and says it is correct. However, it is different from the digital copy I have. I'll let you know if and when the second pressing comes out and if it is actually going to be the different version.

If not, you should have the digital version or I can send it to you.

Just a different guitar solo. Robert recorded three guitar solos for that song. Apparently two of the version got mixed up and the digital pre-release version is not the same as the one on the CD.
