| I am listening to this lp and decided to open a post to check out if their are other fans of this band and their lp from 1988, or TEEZE(the name they had before, they also released a cool lp, in 1985). If you dont know them but you like THEATER OF PAIN/GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS era MOTLEY CRUE or mid 80s HELIX, check them out. |

| Wow, there's a name I haven't heard in a long time. I saw that band once many many years ago at L'amour in Brooklyn. They were cheezy to the extreme. I'm not 100 percent sure but I don't think my friends and I stayed for their entire set. Haha. That's all I got. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

Not much but thanks. I would have loved to see them live for shore. I think their songs are great, very much like KRANK, mid 80s HELIX, mid 80s KROKUS, MOTLEY CRUE(specialy the voice of the singer), SWEET SAVAGE etc... |

Haha, sorry... Who knows, maybe I saw'em on an off night... they had a pretty good buzz around them in my area at that time (I believe they were from Philadelphia, or South Jersey) so the place was packed. If memory serves, I was there to see one of the opening bands (N.Y. Fury) because my friend worked with their guitarist so he put us on the guest list and we got in for free. It may have been my first time at L'amour, now that I think about it. Late 1988 or early 1989.
The only Roughhouse song that I remember was the single off the debut album, "Tonite" -- that got a lot of play on WSOU-FM (the local hard rock/metal station), I always found it kinda annoying myself though ("YOU...and ME...makin' LOVE...to-NITE!").
From what I gather, that Roughhouse album is a pretty pricey collectible these days! _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| Thanks for the heads up. I need to add this album to my homeowner's rider. This thing is going for about $45 on Amazon zShops and I can't even find it on Ebay. I've got about 100 CDs that go for $25 or more on zShops and/or ebay. My CD collection really is becoming something of a retirement plan for me. _________________ "Don't reenact scenes from 'Platoon' with Charlie Sheen."

| I enjoyed the album quite a bit actually, but Shiney had something tastier for me I liked better so off it went. Actually despite my like of it, Ive traded/sold this thing about 4 or 5 times over the years. |

| It never ceases to amaze me how albums I considered "disposable" 10 or so years ago are now going for big bucks. Just one of the reasons that until recently, I seldom sold CDs I bought even if I didn't like them. _________________ "Don't reenact scenes from 'Platoon' with Charlie Sheen."

Everytime I had gotten it in the past it was in a cut out bin believe it or not, except this last time when I got it from Sax.
One glam one that amazes me is Nitro- O.F.R. That thing goes for some STUPID amounts of money. |

| Don'cha love how CDs that nobody wanted when they were current are now commanding idiotic prices on the Internet? I miss the days when you could walk into a used-CD store and everything was $8.99 or less. Now they've gotten wise to the "eBay Effect" and everything is priced accordingly. It takes all the fun outta dumpster diving. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

| I used to see stuff like Roughhouse, Nitro, etc. in cut-out bins all the time. If I'd known they were going to be worth $$ someday I would've bought'em all up when they were dirt cheap and I'd be rakin' in the mad benjaminz now. _________________ "Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants." -- President Hathaway, "Monsters vs. Aliens"

Yea, I'm pretty sure they were from Philly. A buddy of mine (who was in numerous bands back in the day) played some shows with them and is a HUGE fan. I didn't remember them and he gave me a cdr of their stuff. While it might have been the cat's pajamas back in the late 80's/early 90's, it didn't hold up well when I gave it a listen in 2007. I'm sure I have that cdr floating around my house somewhere. If I find it, I'll give it a fresh spin and see if anythings changed. Shortly after Cinderella and Brittney Fox got signed, tons of hair/glam bands popped up trying to be the "next big thing" out of Philadelphia. Roughhouse was one of them. Good enough at what they did, but kind of got lost in that shuffle. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| I never really got into this band. I thought they were kinda generic. Do you remember Reckless from NY that put out one album om Atlantic called No Frills? |
