If Ultimatum were to record a second tribute CD, what bands and song would you like them to cover?

I don't think a second tribute CD will happen, BUT just to play along with the game...

ANVIL - Blood on the Ice (wanted this one on Lex but it didn't happen)
RIOT - Heavy Metal Machine
TED NUGENT - State of Shock
DELIVERANCE - Temporary Insanity

some other bands I suggested but didn't make Lex
TT QUICK, RAVEN, EXODUS, COMBAT FAITH & ANGELS IN EXILE (local bands)

It would have the songs that didn't make it, like Accept.

I like the thought of you guys covering temporary insanity..that would rule! Maybe try to see if Glenn would do a guest spot for it or something.

Actually, we discussed doing this song and I did call Glenn about a possible guest spot, but he was busy recording and writing with Hirax and didn't have the time.

Death's awesome cover of that song pretty much makes it untouchable for anyone else.

I think I'd stay away from the bands they already covered. Maybe do a few more Christian covers like Deliverance, Believer, Tourniquet and Saint. I know ult has raved about Sardonyx, perhaps a cover of them would rock!

Riot Heavy metal machine would be a cool choice too. How about something from Armored Saint like False alarm. Maybe a UFO cover would be cool too.

Anthrax-Only
Nuclear Assault-Brainwashed

I'd actually like to hear you guys tackle something like Warlord -Lucifer's Hammer or Stryper -Co'Mon Rock, just to be a little different!

And you could call it Lex Effeminati to keep our conservative brethren happy....
just kidding

Or Deliverance's tracks on the California Metal compilation? A Space Called You and Attack are probably my two favorite D tracks.

You know what would be awesome? An Ultimatum cover of ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme. Laughing

Say for instance a song like "Fortunate Son" by CCR. Amp it up, speed up the tempo, add some chunky riffing and let Scott wail. Something along those lines. I think Ultimatum could come up with some wicked ideas.

Great song. Ever heard the TT Quick version of this song?

Hey Scott, I have never heard the TT Quick version but I have heard Reverend's rendention. I'll have to dig up that TT quick version and check it out. But I think that song, along others, that is a good example of the type song Ultimatum could turn into a real stomper.
