| Forgot to clarify something, I don't hate death metal but a. many of the bands sound too much alike, b. I'm rarely in a death metal mood, and c. I don't care for a lot of the lyrics and album art of many bands. I might not love it but I certainly don't hate it. |

| I would say the majority of the hardcore punk bands I like like Minor Threat, 7 Seconds, Bad Brains etc. |
