Nice choices there Ult. It's cool to see you like "Crimson Thunder" by Hammerfall. Seems like many don't like that one. It's actually my favorite Hammerfall album.

Negative. I love this cd too. I actually prefer this to United Abominations and End Game. It's almost perfect IMO.

Actually 2010 will be the first year of the new decade. Counting at 2000, you got 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09. See - 10 of em. So to be technical the end of 2009 marks the end of the first decade of the new millenium.

The 2000s ended up being a great decade for rock & metal. At the beginning, the state of rock didn't look too bright but slowly all the veterans gathered back to their "classic" line ups (or as close as possible) and put out quality stuff while seeing success on tour and short-term success and high debuts on the charts again. Plus, tons of new acts have come along to carry the torch for whatever subgenre you prefer.

My 2nd favorite Megadeth album, I think this is going to remain the band's highpoint post-breakup/comeback (in my eyes at least).
