Wow, what a great pic!

Heeeeere we go again, folks... Cablevision and the Fox Network are currently in a pissing match over fees/rates and as of midnight last night, we no longer have the local Fox channel, Fox News, Fox Business, etc., etc. on our cable system.

If they don't get that channel back on the air in time for the Simpsons on Sunday, they will face the Wrath Of Geek!!!

I still watch the Simpsons out of habit, but I do really enjoy the annual "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween episodes.

The Simpsons is one of the few shows I still watch religiously. I will admit that it's not as good as it's been in the past, but I'm also not one of those "this show should've ended years ago" types. They may not hit one out of the park every week like they used to, but it still makes me laugh, therefore I'm still addicted.

The wife and I also watch the local FOX station's 10 PM newscast and their morning news show as well, so we're kinda bummed that it's been yanked.

I can only imagine what would happen if this brou-ha-ha lasts until the next "American Idol" starts up... my wife would probably send letter bombs to James Dolan (Cablevision head) and Rupert Murdoch (Fox owner)...

On the other hand, this pissing match between the two is good for my employer, as both sides have been taking out a bunch of full-page ads in all of our newspapers sniping at each other.

Yea it sucks. Glad to hear I wouldn't have missed the Simpsons either lastnight haha. I went to turn it on and forgot about the whole thing. Its funny cause I was watching Seinfeld at 11:30. 12:00 came around and during one of the commercials the channel just froze I thought my box was messed up and then I realized that, that was the night fox might be shut off. That was annoying beacuse usualy I keep fox on because the Simpsons, Seinfeld and King Of The Hill are on late at night and I fall asleep to it but I had to find something else. Usually I go to Nick at Nite but they seem to be worshiping The Nanny with Fran Drescher and I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE that show. He voice makes me want to and and then

yea I can see in some instances shes not bad looking but most of the time she just seemed old to me and that voice.... Nails on a chalk board.

Welp, the Fox/Cablevision lockout is over... we got our local Fox channel back on Saturday night. Apparently Cablevision isn't happy with the deal they were forced to cut with Fox, but they probably had no choice cuz customers were defecting to DirecTV and Dish left and right.

At least now I can watch this Sunday's "Treehouse of Horror" Simpsons without having to wait for it to turn up on Hulu.com.

I hate that the $99 deal only last a year, and latter we have to disconnect and re-conect again to get the deal, but the installation is dam expensive. So I got charged $40 more this month since the year ended with them

I watch food network all the time and really love Triple D with Guy. That guy is a hoot.
I wonder if he is a metalhead.
