| No, this thread is NOT about the Slaughter known for the song "Up All Night"'; this thread is about the REAL Slaughter!
This Slaughter released one full length album titled Strappado in 1987. They released a couple of demos afterwards, and then had to change their name to Strappado for obvious reasons. After Not Dead Yet in 1991 (versions exist under both the Slaughter name and the Strappado name), the band recorded a demo called Fatal Judgment in 1992. The band's next album was also to be called Fatal Judgment, but was never released until it was released as a part of the Tortured Souls compilation in 2008. Slaughter/Strappado disbanded in 1994.
Any fans? |

| Never cared for either Slaughter to be honest, but if ya put a gun to my head and told me to pick one, I sure as hell wouldn't pick the "Up All Night" poozers. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. | I'm actually a pretty big fan of the "Up All Night" Slaughter. I like good hard rock though. About the thrash Slaughter - I've heard 'of' them, but never heard them. |

| I saw Slaughter (the "Up All Night" one) opening for KISS back in 1990. They were pretty awful. If you think Mark Slaughter's voice is nasal and annoying on record (which I do), whooooo boy... it's even more grating when you hear it live. On the other hand, the girls in the crowd loved'em.
However, after their set the girl I went to the show with summed'em up their appeal this way: "They're hot, but they can't play." Haha. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. | I like both SLAUGHTER´s too but this i about the canadien SLAUGHTER and i agree with some of you, STRAPPADO is a great record. NOCTURNAL HELL, and DEATH DEALER a classic thrash metal songs imo. Beside that album i have SURRENDER OR DIE demo and Smurf OF DEATH a rehearsal with Chuck from DEATH, both on vinyls. |
