| like in 'Slaying the Dreamer'.. near the end of 'Dead Gardens'... etc....all the really overstated 'we're barely playing guitar, and that makes it heavy' stuff that the metalcore and nu bands do all the time. Horrible dynamic for a song. The time I'm referring to though I believe is in 'Dark Chest of Wonders'..2:36....somehow I had that album before 'Century Child'. 'Slaying the Dreamer' is where it really begins..and now Emppu barely has a job, lol. |

Oh okay. I guess I know what you are talking about.
I like those parts though ... but different strokes and stuff.

| IMHO "EyeIIEye" stinks! why do sometimes artists feel they need to reinvent themselves in order to increase a fan base??.to me its like the scorpions were appealing to a much younger crowd not the fans that grew up on their old school style of metal! that said..ult..you and i have got to have a heart to heart talk if you even THINK of going in the hiphop direction! lol! *SMACK*!!!! lol! may i quote a song title to u..NEVER!! Me too, it's one of my favorite 'ryche albums. Fantastic songs on that release!

I agree with you on this one, the Danzig-era Misfits are still one of my all time favourite bands. I hated the way Jerry Only took the name and changed the image into something cheesy. That being said, I actually like some of the "new" songs, even though they don't compare to the old stuff. It would have been a lot cooler if they were put out under a different name. |
