Not that most here might care, I had the privelige of getting to see a true country legend live in concert. I was suprised at the young age of the crowd, probably about 40 years old on average. He put on one hell of a show, played all the classics with sparse instrumentation. It was Willie & Trigger, a Bass player his drummer Paul with a bass & snare only, his sister on piano & a harmonica player. Willie just has this vibe around him & will always be one of my heros!!

I really only like old classic country (50s thru early 70s-my dad listened to that stuff daily), but Willie Nelson does have some good tunes. No doubt he is a legend.

Can't say I'm much of a fan, but I do own one album by him, Milk Cow Blues, and I love it. I'm familair with his older tunes 'cause my grandparents used to play his records.

I betcha he's got some great stories though. He seems like the kind of guy that you could sit back with a few beers, some smoke and just listen to him tell stories all night.

Awesome! Willie Nelson's one of my favorites. I love outlaw country.
