| Finally picked up Antithesis' Dying For Life. I have not heard this album in years! I forgot how heavy and technical this album is. My favorite song is Times of Trial. Any other fans? |

| I haven't heard this album in quite some time - I remember liking it but it's been too long. Gonna have to give this one a spin again. It was heavy, that much I do remember. |

| I like the second album the best. Read in the latest Scream Magazine that they are again working on thier 3rd album, "Dreaming Rality". Not sure they have dug up some old news, or if this is a go again. They've been working on that album for close to a decade now! I still have 2 demo songs from what was supposed to be the 3rd album. _________________ |

| Hmm. I`ve got both their albums but they don`t live up to the raving reviews i have read, IMO. They are ok but nothing special, another band with lots of good musicianship but without good memorable songs... Soo if anyone is looking for them we can trade.. |

I have Dying for Life which I really enjoy. I've been on the lookout for their s/t debut if you want to make a deally-o. I have a new post of stuff for trade in the Metal Market. I might have a few others to add to that list as well. General question. How does their debut live up to Dying for Life? Better, worse or about the same? _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| I love this band. Their debut is the one I prefer but I really like both of them. I disagree that they don't have good songs ... that is what I love about them! So few bands can really, really play and arrange good songs too and in my view ANTITHESIS are definitely one of them.
I've ordered their 3rd CD but haven't received it in the mail yet.
Jim Lewis played bass in our band on "Overlord" but isn't with us anymore. He is playing in a few other projects right now including one band called GODLYKE STATUS. I don't think he is with ANTITHESIS any more. |

| Dying For Life is a superb album, great progressive tinged 'real' power metal. I wanted a t-shirt from them in many years ago but they were just sold out when I was ready to order it. |

| So I received the latest (and final?) CD "Dreaming Reality" yesterday. Listening to it now ...
Sounds like they have a new more traditional metal sounding singer this time. I kinda preferred the old guy (even though this guy is very good) because it made them more "modern" and unique.
The songs so far aren't as catchy to me but it's not bad stuff. Still great playing. Not sure if Jim Lewis (who played in my band) is in the band now, it appears from their MySpace page that they are active again. |

I wasn't aware of this. I like both of their albums, especially the 2nd one, very much. Cool news. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

I ordered it from their MySpace page. Took me months for it to come in the mail, but I guess they have them in stock now and they should send them out quickly I imagine. |

You don't have a copy of their old home video do you? I'd love to get a copy of that. I watched it once. |

Nope, if the memory serves me well I became a "member" of their fan club by pre-ordering their debut cd. I don't think they had the video available yet at that time. All I got was a laminated membership card and logo t-shirt, along with the CD. Maybe some plectrums and stickers too, can't recall. |
