How'bout Anvil's "Five Knuckle Shuffle" instead? That'd really flip some wigs among their fundamental fanbase. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. I think you'll find universally that their best albums are "Soldiers Under Command" and "To Hell With the Devil". Those are the most widely loved/recommended, anyway. If you want the band at their most raw, their debut "The Yellow and Black Attack" is good. If you like the slick pop-metal sound, "In God We Trust" is also a really good disc. I'm less a fan of "Against the Law", even though it has some great tracks. |

AGAINST THE LAW is their best album!! At least, it's the one that's aged the best over the years. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. | I disagree.
I was disappointed in "Against the Law" from the moment I heard it. Though it does have a handful of good songs. Half the album is total crap.
Stryper just doesn't sound good playing blues. They should leave that to Great White and Whitesnake.
"To Hell with the Devil" is the album that has aged best over the years.
Though you can't go wrong with any of their first 4 albums. I'd rank em like so:
1. To Hell with the Devil 10/10 2. In God We Trust 10/10 3. Soldiers Under Command 9/10 4. The Yellow and Black Attack 8/10 - - - - 5. Reborn - - 6. Against the Law |

Add "In God We Trust" to the mix and I agree 100%! Those 3 albums are all KILLER!!! And essential for anyone looking to explore Stryper's work.

| Has anybody ever covered "Rock Bottom" by KISS, complete with the intro ? I still remember seeing KISS in 76' and the way they played the intro. Paul comes out with a double neck guitar and Ace comes up behind him. On each neck one does the chords on the neck while the other picks. It was realy kewl to watch. _________________ |
