I'll have to admit though that British Steel is one of my least favorite Priest albums (with Halford, that is). But hey, it's still Priest, so I got to have it. Laughing

I can't stand buying an album twice, even if it is loaded with all sorts of swag...but the swag looks pretty nice. I might pick it up.

I saw this concert in Cincinnati; it was incredible to see this album live. And while I agree with the above sentiment in principle, I will admit to singing along at the top of my lungs!

Yea, "United" has never been one of my Priest faves either. The band has pretty much admitted in the past that it was a failed attempt at coming up with a "We Will Rock You" style anthem.

Everybody into heavy metal need to buy this of course and yes, i am into heavy metal thats why i will buy it

Meh, the only way Ill buy this album on disc again is if they release the same mix they had on the LP. The album never sounded better than on there.

I'm starting to get a little tired of re-buying the same albums over and over. It was fun for awhile, but now the trend is just burning me out. This one looks nice, but I doubt I'll own it.

Plus, this one in particular would look out of place in my Judas Priest remastered collection. I like the way the spine of the cd's make a pretty picture.

I've already bought BRITISH STEEL three times over the past 25 or so years -- vinyl, cassette, and CD. I'm not gonna bother buying it again.

Same here, I would not mind owning the DVD of this show but I am not rebuying the same album no matter how many bells and whistles are added to the re-release.

DVDs are a nice selling point I guess but I know deep down that if I did shell out for this new set, that DVD would probably only get played once or twice at most. I never have time to watch freakin' DVDs.

The only DVD's I have time to watch are concert DVD's, if my children interput me during the middle of watching one ( and they will) I can at least still listen to it. That could be the reason I own so many of them.

Am I the only one that thinks British Steel isn't really all that good? Don't get me wrong there are some great songs on there but the album as a whole just sounds like a bunch of songs thrown onto an album for the sake of making an album. Maybe its just me.

Eh...it ain't my favorite Priest record but it's a good un'. There are two songs I can't stand though: Rapid Fire and United piss me off.

Kinda. I don't think it's their best. But it's still a good album. I can kinda see what you're saying about it sounding thrown together, but it flows pretty well when it's in its' original playing order.

I've always thought this album was good but extremely overrated. Good to see they aren't just slapping a few bonus tracks on it and calling it a day. I'll probably pick this up for the DVD.

I usually don't fall for super deluxe remastered you've never heard it like this before reissues like these, but I like Priest so much I'll let them slide this once...
