| No, awful as in boring. Lots of long, drawn out scenes where nothing happens. |

| Road House on bluray. Really holds up well. Had forgotten Jeff Healey had a pretty decent size part. And Kelly Lynch is so 80's glorious in this. |

| Krokus - As Long As We LiveA pretty decent Krokus documentary. Kinda lopsided though. Mainly about Fernado Von Arb and Chris Von Rohr. Marc Storace is in it for about 5 minutes. Plus it ends at "The Blitz" as if the band made no other albums than that. Weird. A major plus is the extra footage of the band live during the "To You All" days. Epic! I had to watch with subtitles but I soon didn't realize I was reading the movie. If you can understand German, you'll enjoy it even more than I did. Recommended if you can find it. |

| Star Wars. The original version. None of this limp-wristed "Episode IV: A New Hope", special edition BS. I could probably watch this movie a million times and not get tired of it. After watching the three stiffly written prequels, I really keyed in this time on just how loose and naturalistic this movie is compared to so many sci-fi/fantasy movies. There are numerous moments in which characters are just hanging out, talking about stupid crap like real people would, like those stormtroopers chatting while Ben shuts down the tractor beam. It's good stuff. |

Nope. Is it better than the first one? I skimmed through Anthropophagus again last night to see if I changed my opinion of it. I haven't. |

| Absurd is awful. You want to see a flick that really goes nowhere? Clunky dialogue, snail pacing, wasteful special effects; everything is wrong with it, not to mention it's a Halloween knock-off.

| Blood Creek - Nazi Occult shananigans result in trouble for Morgan Co. WV. Another piece of the Spectrefate puzzle falls into place. G.I. Joe - I had been avoiding this forever because Joe and Transformers were thee toys/cartoons of my childhood. Well, it was a corruption somewhat of the original, and some of the chase/escape themes were stupid/impossible. However, I enjoyed the ride. |

| Avatar Watched it with the girls. Didn't live up to the hype, but it was entertaining from an FX point of view. And, even a 10' Blue Zoe Saldana okay by me. | Spoiler: | | | It's almost the exact some story as Dances With Wolves, but in space. Really, that's it almost exactly. |

| The Road to Hong Kong
I love the Hope/Crosby "Road" movies but this one fell flat. Joan Collins had no chemistry with either and obviously is no Dorothy Lamour. At least she got a cameo though. Didn't much care for them doing a takeoff on the then hot spy genre either. Seems to date the movie even more. |

Kinda slow, but the effects were pretty good, and it was kinda worth it for the creature at the end. |

| "Class of 1999" - sci-fi/action B-flick that's like a futuristic mish mash of "The Blackboard Jungle," "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Terminator." Silly as hell but OHHHH so much fun!!! _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said.
