I'm sorry, but the Iceman is a hideous guitar. I'm sure it sounds great, but I can't look at it.

Love the cat in car pics. Unlike dogs, cats and cars generally do not get along.

Cool Cenobites figures too.

This is the face of a mechanic folks!

My mom gave me my grandfather's Mercury Grand Marquis as an alternative to my older car (it's got some life left in it but better safe than sorry). The brakes were squeeling so I decided to take a weekend off and work on them. I could tell that the rotors were not in good shape so I had to change them as well (I normally could have my school resurface them but there is currently no brake class right now). This is a pretty simple job and should have only taken about an hour. However, some jackass decided to make sure I couldn't get the caliper housing off. I had to use a breaker bar to get the bolts out only to find that the threads had some kind of bonding agent on them (some sfincter glued-or something-the bolts in!). It was 4 hours later that I had finally got the job done. If I had the vehicle on a lift I could have gotten the proper leverage on those bolts but I was using a car jack on a floor and had to squeeze my way uner the wheel well and lift with all my might (and it took many tries to do so). An hour job turned into four just because some prick decided nobody but a mechanic with the proper facilities was going to be allowed to do the brake work.

Must have been "Thread Lock" Dallas. I use it all the time. But there's two types. Blue tube and red tube. I use the blue on scope mount screws and things I don't want to back out but, be able to take out if I want. The red tube is really hard to get out! But it's actually smart to use it on brakes and things like that.

Got a new Turkey call today at lunch. This is a "box call". It's really nice...super fancy! I had a couple cheap scratch calls and mouth calls in the basket and then.....I saw it!!!! The Holy Grail of Turkey calls. Everything went right back out of the basket. LOL! I've been annoying everybody in the office with it.

Hey, I wonder if Ted Kirkpatrick would wanna use its sounds on his new CD?? silent

You're all ghey jerks!

#2

Yeah, I asked for this one, didn't I?

My hobbies are trains, lifting, vintage baseball, softball, reading, movies and heavy metal. Twice now I've played entire 162 game seasons on a baseball dart board, paralleling the regular MLB season. I tend to take all my interests to the "geek" level. So I'm used to the jokes. I decided in my early 30's to just roll with it all.

Just think, everyone in that photo is a Firefighter. You can imagine what we hear from the other guys on the department when they catch wind of those wrestling singlets. It's not pretty.

Carry on, fools!
