ToB's Controversial Opinions thread (that no one here will agree with)

1. CAULDRON BORN are a better band than IRON MAIDEN
2. The Blaze Bayley IRON MAIDEN albums are better than the recent Bruce ones (including all Bruce's solo albums)
3. "Fistful of Metal" is better than "State of Euphroria"
4. "Impact is Imminent" is better than "Bonded by Blood"
5. "Show No Mercy" is better than "Reign in Blood"
6. Ski (FAITH FACTOR, ex-DEADLY BLESSING, ex-ALTERED STATE) is a far better singer than Tim "Ripper" Owens.
7. Skolnick's guitar solos these days are pretty tasteless and terrible
8. LETHAL is better than CAGE
9. Lars Ulrich's drumming >>>> Jon Schaffer's songwriting
10. FORCED ENTRY is much better than BELIEVER

I agree with no.5. I'm undecided about no.6 - and I've never heard the band 'Lethal' so I can't compare them to Cage just yet.

1) ToB should stop smoking crack
2) ToB should invest in a hearing aid
3) ToB 's ego makes Yngwie Malmsteem seem downright humble
4) ToB should move out of his mother's basement and interact with human beings

I agree with some of these opinions...

Fistful of Metal rules! State of Euphoria was a far weaker album. Agree.

Yup, I agree too. When Ultimatum recently did our covers Cd, I actually wanted to cover a song from Impact is Imminent.

Yes. Agree here too. Show No Mercy is my favorite Slayer album.

Ski is a great singer, but I like Tim Owens too. So I guess I do somewhat disagree with this one.

8. LETHAL is better than CAGE

Lethal are great. The last two Cage CDs seemed a little samey to me.

Wow - the love for Fistful of Metal! I liked it when I first heard it, but I thought State was better. Same with Show No Mercy, I thought it was a good album but Slayer got far better afterwards. Hell Awaits was HUGE step up and reign in blood just rules!!!!

Now, in true disclosure, I can't comment on Lethal V. Cage, never heard either bad. Who knows, I may agree with ToB on that one.
