| I can see the view that Fistful of Metal is better than State of Euphoria and i probably agree, but Slayer got much better after Show No Mercy. I think i can't fully enjoy SNM because of the crap production... Crionics is a damn good song though. |

| I think 'Reign in Blood' is an excellent album is a huge improvement in songwriting/performance not to mention production then 'Show No Mercy' I have never heard of Cauldron Born but I am going to assume since you like 'em ToB then they must suck.  |

No, first 5 albums actually ... and I really don't think he could play our stuff! My post wasn't in regards to what he sounds like these days ... which is AWFUL!!!! Same with Kirk, he was good back in the day but these days he isn't even trying. |

I addressed that in a different thread. There's just "something" off with that group of American Powermetal bands from the 80s/90s that I can't put a finger on. (with a few exceptions) |

sorry,jim,you oughta know me by now..i am going to agree with you on number 6 w/o a moments hesistation.and you can tell ski i said that too!! since i am a fan of yours,alterted state,deadly blessing,and faith factor..however,you missed one...his first band Zygo! lol! 
But anyway, they're awesome. Imagine Fates Warning and Rising Force having a fistfight, while Dio and Maiden are being blasted in the background. Awesome stuff.
