| "Kill Em' All" was one of the initial starting points for this type of music and it had it's own style and flavor. By the time, "Justice" was released there was a second wave breaking off and most of those bands were doing it way better than Metallica and not just going through the motions. Opinion and mileage may vary, of course. _________________ |

| Kill 'Em All by a WIDE margin.
I agree with James, Kill 'Em All was such an important record at the time it came out; Metallica was fresh, hungry and out to conquer.
By comparison, Justice sounds bloated, over-thought and tired. |

| No contest...KILL'EM ALL. That album quite literally changed everything. Nuff said. _________________ "God's the ultimate playa, so naturally He's going to have some haters," rapper Ice Cube said. | Kill 'Em All. Both are awesome, but Kill 'Em All has low end. |

| I had to think long and hard about this one before I voted. Valid points brought up in favor of Kill 'em All, but at the end of the day, I think Justice has gotten more spins from me over the years, so that one got the nod. Coulda went either way on that one though. _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| Kill 'Em All. It was raw, fresh, energetic, and just plain fast. Just the way I like it. Kirk actually had solos that sounded cool, and James' vocals rip! Kirk's lead guitar tone is one of the best lead tones I have ever heard, on any album. I never got into Justice, thought it was pretty boring overall. I actually have never listened to it from start to finish before. KEA, also, still retains the general NWOBHM riffage. Also, I love the production on KEA. I like the snare drum sound on Justice, but that's about it. And I didn't care for James' vocals on that one either. James' vocals peaked on Kill Em All, and the coolness of them totally died on anything after Master of Puppets. I really won't listen to any post-MOP Metallica, with the exception of the amazing Death Magnetic. |

| It really is a tie for me - Even though I consider ...And Justice For All as my favourite for numerous reasons, one being that it's the first Metallica album I ever purchased so it has nostalgic value, but also because it simply is metal brilliance. Kill 'Em All is freakin' awesome, and an album I truly adore. "Hit The Lights" was the first Metallica song I heard. When I first heard the opening drum frenzy, building up to Kirk's blistering lead guitar, I was blown away. That song, along with "Whiplash" was the soundtrack of my youth. Long Live Metallica! |

| "... And Justice for All" was my first album I purchased from Metallica too. So that might play a part with why I love it so much. I guess the older guys are the ones who are preferring "Kill Em All". I was only 6 years old when "Kill Em All" came out. |
