Subject: Anyone know this tune? 3/13/2010, 8:14 pm
The video below is from the band Dream Theater and Peruvian Skies is my favorite song from them. They like to jam out in concert and do a lot of pieces from other bands and mix them into their own songs. There is a piece starting at around the 8 min mark that I do not recognize and I own almost all of Dream Theaters albums.
I hope one of you guys can recognize it as its a pretty rad riff and jam. It might just be that a jam but maybe not..

It's definitely not Kansas...I'm wanting to say it's Dixie Dregs...

They've covered Kansas before too...but that's definitely too funky for Kansas...it's gotta be Dixie Dregs or a jam they came up with...

Yeah, there are bits of both "Have A Cigar" by Pink Floyd and "Enter Sandman" by Metalica in there as well...
