I think so. You can socialize there if you want, find people with similar tastes but I use it to catalog my collection and keep a wish list of albums (which is the main purpose, don't get me wrong this isn't Facebook or MySpace). You can also add/edit artists, albums, etc.

I'd like to join this too but let me know how cataloging your CDs goes; I have about 3 times as many as you and that just seems too labor-intensive.

Nope I just finished updating my spreadsheet which contains the entire library was intensive enough (im bout 70 away from 1000 CDs) |

Because I LIKED CD-Tracker, CD-Tracker was easy and the list was printable very user friendly. Ill never do those list sites again unless its my own, because if I have time to mess with a site like rateyourmusic which I just dont like the layout or the format then I have time to work on Rock City which Ive been neglecting |

| I loved CD-Tracker but I must say RYM is wonderful. I CAN LIST TO THE EXACT ISSUE I OWN. Plus entertaining reviews. Plus someone on there reviewed our demo for his metal blog (The Golden Bird).
HOWEVER. The film section is sucking. I can't find all the special edition DVDs I have yet.. |
