I really want these. Are these stateside released yet?

These are my most looked forward to albums at this point.

Next would be the new Ratt and then Armored Saint.

Avantasia's last album was my album of the year for 2008, so I wonder how these will stack up? I bet they will at least both be top 5 for the year.

Or get the Box shipped to you from wpinns on Ebay for about $22-23.

They pick right up where Scarecrow left off and they're fantastic. I've been enjoying them vary much. Tobias is one heck of a songwriter.

I'd rather buy these from CDInzane and have them in a few days. Rather than wait from Nuclear Hell til hell freezes over.

I'll actually pass on the d/l songs.

It's my way of saying 'no thanks' to the push from the industry to get us all to download only. I'm a big anti-proponent of Itunes world.

But yes, like Exact said - it's a book, extra pics. It also has a bonus interview, a biography of the band and liner notes!!!

I'm glad I decided to get the box-set!

The bonus tracks for d/l are bullock; 1 radio edit, and 2 live tracks......

How did you like the album after the first spin? Does it compare to "The Scarecrow" in greatness?

I found an eBay listing for the Wicked Symphony box set for $21.99 + $3 shipping. I'll probably get it on payday this Wednesday. It is listed as brand new.

Just to be clear, Wicked Symphony AND Angel of Babylon are included correct? Also, there's something about a password to download exclusive tracks?

MM, it should be both cd's. Wicked Symphony might be my new favorite by Avantasia.

I'm loving this new Avantasia!!! But I need to spend more time with it.

Right now both albums clock in right after "The Scarecrow" for me. "The Scarecrow" is a masterpiece though, I wasn't expecting them to top that one.

But both albums are so far in my top 5 of 2010!!!

Yeah, the 2 new ones are maybe even better than The Scrarecrow, imho. It's even more diverse, but still more back to the roots, in some ways.

Yeah, the 2 new ones are maybe even better than The Scrarecrow, imho. It's even more diverse, but still more back to the roots, in some ways.

I finally got these albums now. I think I still prefer "The Scarecrow", but that album is a total masterpiece to me. I rate it a 10/10 and it was my album of the year for 2008.

The new ones RULE though!!! So we are in agreement there!

These two albums are amazing and man the hooks just never stop. Some of these choruses just stick in your head instantly. I love The Scarecrow but man these are close to passing that masterpiece.

One thing I have come to find out is that some of these songs remind me of some classic songs from other bands.

Avantasia has easily become one of my favorite bands. Avantasia+Jorn Lande= Gold to me...
