Don't know. Didn't really open up a conversation with him. His other email was titled "YOUR SITE SUCKS AND SO DO YOU", so he obviously just has a problem with me personally. Some people get really bent out of shape when I don't praise a band that they love, or don't rave about a CD that they think is great. Sometimes they get angry to the point of personal attacks, and obviously that's what this is about. I just didn't snap that the two "hate" mails I received in the last couple weeks were from the same person.

I just find arguing (like you really mean it) over whether X metal band is better than Y metal to be silly. The suckiest band thread we had awhile back was amusing but since its all so subjective, arguing and name calling is kinda pointless. If you dont like a band - dont listen to them. Feel free to express an opinion about them but going to the lengths this guy did is juvenile. |

The other thing it does is allow for big talk while hiding behind a computer screen. I guarantee face to face this guy wouldn't say a thing to Ult. I'll bet this guy also has sex with a different hot girl every night, is really rich, and will gladly tell you all about it via the internet. They always do.
Sometimes I more enjoy reading reviews of things that I may hold the opposite view on. It's interesting to me how someone else sees it. Hell, the reviews on Metal Archives alone provide plenty of this. |

I'm glad you are able to ignore guys like that. I guess in the entertainment business you are a sitting duck for both praise and criticism. Some people become so worked up over subjective issues. That e-mail speaks volumes about the authors education level.
Also, the effort you have put into your website "No Life 'til Metal" is well appreciated. I browse it quite frequently when I'm looking at future purchases.
