Anyone see this, especially the top ten songs? Why the Lack of Modern Era Songs? ( in the last 20 years only Nirvana's "Smells like Teen Spirit" made the list. ) I was largestly disappointed with the list mostly 50''s 60's and 70's artist with a large black musician making the list but the best Black of all Jimi Hendrix did not crack the top ten. Thoughts.

All of these lists are so subjective. They are nice in theory but everyone's tastes are so different I dont see the point of the Greatest Songs of all-time lists that come and go.

I agree. Mostly filled with so called classic songs from the 60s and 70s, namely from bands such as The Beatles who I don't like.

I agree - Rolling Stone lists are not true gospel to everyone.

I don't think they are relevant like they were back in the day.

To me, I lump this in with the RnR HOF, somehwere between a joke and irrelevant.

I think this list are interesting and I also think that it is also interesting how often they change it every few years, magazines publish like this to inspire to debate and to encourage fans to hopefully seek out the artists or artists songs being spotlighted
