| Strangly enough no topic on Swedish doomgods Krux. They already released two great albums with the killer titels: Krux I & Krux II.
The band: Mats Levén vocals (Abstrakt Algebra, At Vance, Yngwie Malmsteen) Jörgen Sandström guitars (Entombed, Grave, The Project Hate) Fredrik Åkesson guitars (Arch Enemy, Opeth) Leif Edling bass (Abstrakt Algebra, Candlemass, Nemesis) Peter Stjärnvind drums (Entombed, Face Down, Merciless, Murder Squad, Unanimated)

| Yeah, good band. Haven't listened to em in a couple of years though, and needless to say, they've got nothing on Candlemass. |

| Not many doom bands have anything on Candlemass. Krux is amazing though. Especially the second album. |

| The second album is by far more awesome. So many memorable moments on that. |

| I prefer the first album. Hawkwind meets Sabbath, ya can't go wrong with that. |

| Oddly, I actually like Krux a bit more than Candlemass (well at least vocally) I guess otherwise they are pretty much equal in my opinion.
Supposedly they are going to have new material done this year or early next year. I sure hope so! |

| Sounds promising. Never heard of 'em, but judging from the line-up, that a pretty talented bunch. Is this a full time gig for those guys or a side-project they throw together when the time is right? _________________ A legend in posting since February 1st, 2007

| So here's the latest offical news on the new Krux album. The album is titled "Krux III-He Who Sleeps Amongst the Starts". The CD version will be released at the end of November on the GMR label and the vinyl version will be released by High Roller Records. There are 7 songs on the album and the style is of course heavy but maybe a bit more straight forward this time, a bit more....metal. Standout tracks are the title track, the ultra heavy "Emily Payne", the schizoid, heavy and bizarre "Hades Assembly" and the progressive 10 minuete opus "Prince Azaar and the invisible Pagoda". |
