I wouldn't necessarilary say I dislike the band, but it's not really typical of the music I listen to. Check me if I'm wrong, but from what I've heard, it's along the lines of AOR melodic rock. And I don't buy or listen to that, with a few exceptions.

You would be correct sir, it is melodic AOR along the lines of Journey etc

Heh. Just ordered both. I hope the reissue of the self-titled is worth re-buying. The price isn't bad, but if there's no big difference it's sort of a waste.

Man, this cover of "Breaking The Chains" is pretty awesome. I missed the webisode when they discussed it, so it was unexpected. I didn't even recognize it until the chorus! Haha.

And then I watched the webisode. They covered Queensryche's "I Will Remember?" Man, I can't wait to hear that!

after a couple of spins I have to say that I like Momentum a lot. It is a little more mellow overall than the debut but I like it.

They say "alternate version" but they sound like alternate mixes of the same tracks, so there's really little difference at all. "Remind Me" has the guitars turned down, so it's more acoustic, I guess. The same with "Can't You See," most of the guitar (not that there was much to begin with) has been turned down.

I also don't hear much difference in the other songs. It's there, but it'll take a good ear for the average fan to notice.
